General Info:

This album is as good as any of the other live albums that GFR has put out .There must be tons of bands out there that can only dream of immitating the power to communicate not only with words of excellent written lyrics, but with the heaviness and shiness of steel, and absolute rawness of the soul. That has been the pinnacle of the Heavy Rock era "The Hardest Working Band"was not a simple label but an earned right. I was blessed to see the original group in concert I mean Mark with the most powerful fingers on any fretboard,Mel the rhythm of the heart at any rate, and Don thunderous and truly footstomping...I also had the biggest disappointment a couple of weeks ago when I saw the new GFR outfit-WITHOUT MARK THERE'S NO GRAND FUNK RAILROAD! They should call it something else, maybe "The All American Band",or something of the sort, but please don't mislead the true fans that we're going to get anything close to any "Real"Live GFR album. If you have any, none or all of their albums I highly recomend you buy this one too...you will NOT be disappointed!
